How to get your website to rank at the top of search engines? The key here is about what you have to do to make your website having a lot of traffic meaning having tons of visitors visiting your site and also having your web link showing up when people search on search engines. Having tons of traffic will make your site being in a higher rank in search engine and that means your website or blog will show up before other websites that have lower traffic or rank than yours when people search for something that relates to your contents. It surely would be the best to be on the first the first page. Second or third page is ok but well ask yourself that how often will you even click on the second, third or fourth page? Not often right? Then it would even be so rare that people go to page ten or something.
Then you might ask there are like thousands and thousands of websites of the same industry like me out there, would my new site ever be on the first page? It would, if you knew how to do it right. The most important key here is about keywords. You know that when people use search engines, they will type in relevant keywords of what they're looking for. Then the websites with the higher traffic or rank and have those keywords in their contents will show up first. Now what you should do to start providing contents or writing articles is doing a research of those keywords that are relating to the topic that you want to write about. There is a free tool from Google that you can use to do this. Go to https://adwords.google.com and sign up with your Gmail account. After signing up, go to "Reporting and Tools/Keyword Tool". Then just type the keyword or phrase you want to do the research on. There you can get the information of like global monthly searches and others for that keyword. Don't just try to put all keywords all over your webpage and make it none sense to your content. It will be like SPAM. Don't SPAM. Just be natural. Be yourself. Title tags and Meta tags are important as well. Use relevant keywords in your title tags. Bold, italic or header will also help. Search engines will analyze what you emphasize. Always remember that don't SPAM. Don't overdo it. If it will not make any sense to emphasize something there or here, don't do it. It will not also make sense to your readers and it will just annoy and repel them. Moreover, if it seems to be like a SPAM, search engines would remove your website from their indices as well. Just be natural. Don't worry about these too much. Just take these tips into consideration while you're writing contents. To be continued...
